Contesting or Appealing a Ban
If you are in the unfortunate state that you feel that you were banned without just reason, this subforum is for applying for an appeal. State your case and the leadership will review the information provided. Please read below the Do's and Don'ts of contesting a ban to help facilitate this process.
The Do's and Don'ts to Contest a Ban:
Do's:
+ Only Leaders, Officers involved, and the Person disputing the ban should post in this forum.
+ Provide sufficient evidence and sound argument of why the ban should be lifted. This will include screenshots, video, audio recordings, chat logs, and anything else that support the lifting of the ban.
+ Provide Information on the grounds of the ban, if either it was in Teamspeak or Forums or both.
+ Be patient and calm during the contesting process. Leaders need time to sort the evidence and make a sound decision for the betterment of Fever.
+ Watch the Ban Contesting Forum for new information regarding the case you are involved in.
Don'ts:
- Make malicious threats or post to detriment the contesting process.
- Provide false information, evidence, or accusing other Fever Members of misconduct to plead leniency.
- Post if not a leader, involved officer or contesting a ban that is not your own.
- Spam this thread, or post hateful statements about Fever Clan or to the Member therein.
- Post hateful statements about Fever in other areas where the Fever Clan is represented.
- Repeated attempting to appeal a ban once a decision has been made. The decision of the Leaders are Final.
Reasons a ban will not be lifted:
- The infraction was too Severe and, at the discretion of the leader reviewing the ban, it is decided it is not in the best interest of Fever to lift the ban.
- Lack of Evidence refuting the ban reason
- Doing one of the Don'ts
Remember, when a person joins Fever they are set to a high standard of conduct. Violating this standard of conduct results in a warning and/or a ban. Provided that the ban is lifted, the person that was previously banned will be on probation for an amount of time set up to the discretion of the Leader that lifted the ban. Fever is a friendly and fun gaming community and wants to keep it that way!
